Slingshot Catapults Marbles Through Windows, Police Say

Marbles catapulted by slingshot shatter window on vehicle and home in area, troopers say.

When was the last time you saw a kid with a slingshot?

While your answer may be, "Not in years," if you saw anyone with a slingshot in the overnight hours of Oct. 20 along Lower Macungie Road, state police would like to know.

While the weapon of choice of mischievous juveniles such as Dennis the Menace is out of style, someone pulled one of these little trouble-makers from the back of a closet and shot some marbles with it, according to state police at Fogelsville. It isn't known how many marbles were fired, but two found windows in the 4900 block of Lower Macungie Road in Lower Macungie Township.
