Rig Pulls Down Wire, Takes Off, Police Say

Hit-and-run crash damages siding and insulation at Upper Milford home, troopers report.

State police at Fogelsville are looking for a truck driver and it isn't to say thank you.

Same likely goes for an Upper Milford Township homeowner.

Trouble began innocently enough when a tractor-trailer operator struck a low-hanging wire while driving on Kings Highway S. about 10 a.m. Nov. 1 near Lenape Park Road, police said. The snagged vehicle yanked the wire from the side of the home at 6063 Kings Highway S., damaging siding and insulation.
