Police: Rear-end Collision Slightly Hurts 1 in Upper Milford

One vehicle drives into rear of another that was braking for slowed traffic in Old Zionsville area, troopers report.

An Allentown woman was slightly injured recently when the driver of another car rear-ended her vehicle in Upper Milford Township, police said.

Kristi L. Messenlehner, 22, was traveling south on Chestnut Street just north of Powder Valley Road at 7:33 a.m. Jan. 23, according to state police at Fogelsville. Messenlehner slowed her Saab for stopped traffic, but Neirovich D. Munoz, 33, of Allentown was unable to stop before striking the rear of her car.

Messenlehner was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, police said. Munoz was uninjured in his Lincoln Continental.

Munoz was cited for an unspecified violation, police said.

Both cars were towed.
