Police: Truck Splits Pole Near Shimerville, Keeps Going

The following information about Upper Milford police incidents was supplied by troopers at the barracks in Fogelsville. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Michael Kotch at 4229 Salem Drive; about $200 removed from the center console of his unlocked vehicle between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 3 p.m. Sept. 17, police said.

Criminal mischief: Reported at Indian Creek Golf Club, 1449 Chestnut St.; grease-type substance poured on front patio, sidewalk and one golf cart between midnight and 8 a.m. Sept. 29, police said; no damage estimate provided.

Charged: Unnamed 24-year-old woman from the 600 block of W. Gordon Street, Allentown, with criminal mischief at 6301 Vera Cruz Road S.; at 4:25 p.m. Oct. 5 for punching the victim's door and breaking a glass window, police said.

Hit and Run: Unknown tractor-trailer struck and broke a utility pole in two at 10:49 p.m. Sept. 26 on Main Road W. near Wood Lane; paint transferred onto utility pole and broken piece from the truck left behind, police said.
