Police: Tools, Fuel Stolen from Mechanics Plus

Thief grabs three vehicle jacks and 20 gallons of fuel from the Upper Milford towing and repair shop, troopers report.

Someone visiting an Upper Milford vehicle towing and repair business recently took along some tools of the trade and topped the trip off by taking 20 gallons of fuel, according to police.

This weekend, sometime between 11 p.m. Jan. 4 and 10 a.m. Jan. 6, someone visited Mechanics Plus Towing and Transport Inc. at 4701 Colebrook Ave., according to state police at Fogelsville. The person found three jacks to his/her liking inside tow trucks and removed them. Each was valued at $125.

Police said 20 gallons of fuel, valued at about $75, also were taken.
