Thefts from motor vehicles: Reported July 9 in the first block of N. 2nd Street, 100 block of E. Spruce Street, 100 block of Alpine Drive and 400 block of E. Harrison Street; several unlocked vehicles broken into overnight and many items including DVD player and CDs taken, police said; no value given.
Criminal mischief: Window of parked vehicle smashed in 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, police said; no value given.

Theft: iPod, camera and cash stolen July 7 from vehicle in the 600 block of Walnut Street, police said; no value given.
Criminal mischief: July 4 in the restooms of the S. 4th Street ballfields; pyrotechnics set off causing small fire, police said; no damage estimate given.

Theft: iPhone taken from vehicle July 3 in the lot at Auto Zone, 1437 Chestnut St., police said; no value given.
Cited: Ayaz Ahmed, 19, of 6950 Sweetwood Road, Macungie; Matthew Haas, 19, of 5702 Acorn Drive, Upper Milford Township; Austin Hess, 18, of 2214 Rising Sun Road, Slatington; all June 28 at McDonald's restaurant parking lot at 5:45 a.m. for underage drinking, police said.
Charged: David Muska, 41, of 558 Chestnut St.; June 26 with assault and harassment following a domestic disturbance in his residence, police said; processed and committed to Lehigh County Prison.
