Spackling Knife, Cell Phone Weapons in Dispute, Cops Say

Both individuals cited for harassment at Upper Milford home, troopers report.

The weapons in a recent duel at an Upper Milford Township home were neither swords nor pistols.

Instead, state police at Fogelsville reported that a man and woman were cited for threatening each other with a cell phone and spackling knife.

It was not immediately clear, according to police-released information, what started a dispute in the 4000 block of Miller Avenue about 8:40 p.m. Saturday. But police reported that Vincent David Longo, 51, made threatening gestures with a spackling knife. Pattie Ann Bowman, 47, responded by striking Longo in the face with a cell phone, police said.
