Police: Ex-girlfriend Kicked, Punched, Choked in Fight
Boyfriend is charged with simple assault in incident at Upper Milford Township home, troopers report.
There are bad break-ups in relationships and then there are really bad break-ups.
A bad break-up crossed into the very bad category if at no other time than at about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at an Upper Milford Township home. According to state police at Fogelsville, that's when a 41-year-old woman was kicked, punched and choked.
Police said that's what Daryl Lenig, 37, of Macungie did to his ex-girlfriend at 4754 Vera Cruz Road. According to scanner transmissions, an ambulance was called to the residence, but police did not say whether she was injured.

Lenig fled the home, but police said a simple assault charge was brought against him. Court records show that a harassment charge was added.
