Police: Emmaus Weis Employee Took Money From Safe

Mollyann Caroll, 21, of N. Cherry Street in Emmaus, allegedly took $830 from a Weis Markets safe between August and October 2012, according to Emmaus Police.

An Emmaus woman working at the borough Weis Markets is charged with taking $830 from the store safe, according to the Emmaus Police Department.

Mollyann Caroll, 21, of N. Cherry Street allegedly took the money between August and October 2012 while an employee of the Weis store at 1220 Chestnut St., police said.

Caroll was arraigned Oct. 8 by District Judge Michael D'Amore in Allentown on charges of theft and receiving stolen property and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing had been set for Monday (Oct. 15) but has been rescheduled for Nov. 27 before District Judge Donna Butler of Emmaus, according to court records.
