Police: Emmaus Man's car Rolls Over on Upper Milford Road

His vehicle overturned when he drove off the Upper Milford Township roadway and hit a tree, troopers report.

An Emmaus man was fortunate to survive with relatively minor injuries recently when his car drove off an Upper Milford roadway, struck a tree and rolled over, police said.

Ryan N. Diehl, 18, was traveling north on S. Mountain Drive at 3:35 p.m. Jan. 2, according to state police at Fogelsville. Diehl's 1995 Ford Escort went off the roadway near 4451 S. Mountain Drive.

Diehl's car struck the tree and rolled over, requiring assistance from Emmaus Ambulance Corps, police said. Diehl was treated for minor injuries.

He was charged with driving at an unsafe speed, police said.
