Emmaus Police: Chalice Stolen from St. Ann’s

Theft at St Ann’s Catholic Church among the incidents reported by the Emmaus Police Department between Sept. 21 and Sept. 28.

The following recent incidents were released by the Emmaus Police Department:

  • Vehicle dented in the 500 block of Berger St.; Reported Sept. 21
  • Theft of 4 trash cans, 1000 block of S 10th St.; Reported Sept. 21
  • Graffiti reported at Jefferson Elementary School, 520 Elm St.; Reported Sept. 24
  • Theft of a GPS from a vehicle in the 300 block of Adrain St.; Reported Sept. 26
  • Window of a garage damaged in the 900 block of Evergreen St.; Reported Sept. 26
  • Chalice and plate stolen from St Ann’s Catholic Church, 415 S 6th St.; Reported Sept. 27
  • Burglary of an apartment in the 300 block of Main St.; Reported Sept. 28

Seeing this rise??? of theft is saddening...Certainly, thou shalt not steal is being overlooked to a great degree!!! When people are willing to steal from G_D it is at a new low for mankind!!! Do we have an idea of what the motive is???

Is stealing the chalice worse than the Democratic convention denying God 3 times like Judas,... then booing when God was adopted?
