Man Charged with Threatening Life of Woman in Upper Milford

Actions during argument led to terroristic threats and harassment, police say.

A man was sent to prison on Friday after threatening several times to kill a woman at an Upper Milford Township home, according to police.

Larry Jay Rikl, no age given, made derogatory comments against an unnamed woman about 5:30 a.m. at 3254 Faith Road, said . The argument escalated to Rikl pulling the woman's hair and spitting on her. He further yelled death threats several times in the face of the woman.

Rikl was arrested at the address and charged with harassment and making terroristic threats, police said. He was arraigned and remains in Lehigh County Prison on $25,000 bail.
