Lost Tire Causes Upper Milford Crash

No one injured despite lost wheel hitting another vehicle, police say.

A tire bounding from a car and into the path of another may sound like the thing of movies, but it was all too real for two drivers recently in Upper Milford Township.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, according to .

Douglas F. Hall, 75, of Macungie was traveling north on Route 100 July 24 when the driver's front-side tire fell off his car as he rounded a turn, police said.
