Jeep Wranglers Targeted in Spare Tire Thefts

Emmaus Police say three separate spare tire thefts reported in the borough on same night.

The following recent incidents were released by the :

Retail Theft: Reported Feb. 24. A 17-year-old male student was charged with retail theft of items from the cafeteria. He will be enrolled in the Impact Project in lieu of criminal charges.

Theft: Reported Feb. 28. Three separate thefts reported, in the 400 block of North Street, the 400 block of North 5th Street and the 100 block of Elm Street. Each incident involved the theft of the spare tire from the rear of a Jeep Wrangler. Values ranged from $250-$400.

Reported Feb. 29. The roofs of the dug-outs at the were damaged, $300 estimated cost of repair.
