Hit-and-Run Reported by Emmaus Resident

Incident on S. 2nd Street is among recent items reported by the Emmaus Police Department.

A resident in the 400 block of S. 2nd Street recently reported that his car was involved in a hit-and-run accident, according to Emmaus Police.

Overnight on July 20, police say, the resident’s parked car was sideswiped. The other vehicle involved left behind black paint.

Emmaus Police also report the following recent non-related incidents in the borough of Emmaus:

  • Police say two residents in the 600 block of N. 2nd reported the theft of three solar lights from their front yards overnight between July 6 and July 7.
  • A resident reported that her purse was stolen overnight on July 9 from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Adrian Street. The purse was later found on a porch on S. 4th Street, police say.
