An Emmaus woman has admitted to robbing a teenager at knifepoint last year, according to published reports.

Daquasia Ransome, 19, pleaded guilty in Lehigh County Court Tuesday to robbing a 16-year-old girl for her cellphone outside Jefferson Elementary in October, the Morning Call reported.

The newspaper says the girl was walking home when Ransome stopped her and threatened her with the knife.

Court records show Ransome was charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault and conspiracy. She faces four to 20 years in prison for this and two other robbery cases.
