Emmaus Teen Stable After Lower Macungie Crash

Kyle F. Cope was seriously injured Monday when his car hit a traffic pole.

A 17-year-old Emmaus boy was in stable condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest last night, following a car accident that happened in Lower Macungie Township early Monday morning, according to a Morning Call story.

Kyle F. Cope was seriously injured on Feb. 27 when the car he was driving struck a traffic pole, the report says. The accident occurred as Cope was travelling in the eastbound lane of Lower Macungie Road, near Brookside Road in Lower Macungie Township.

Cope’s accident comes on the heels of the Feb. 16 death of Emmaus High School student , who was killed when the car he was driving struck a tree and rolled onto its roof.
