Emmaus Police Tell Residents to Protect Spare Tires
Emmaus Police Department say another spare tire was reported taken in the borough today.
The says a spare tire was reported stolen from a Honda CRV in the 200 block of North 3rd Street today.
This incident comes on the heels of the spare tires of three Jeep Wranglers being stolen in the same night. The cars were all parked on streets in the borough on the night of Feb. 28.
As a result, Emmaus Police want to make Emmaus residents aware of this latest incident.

Sgt. Charles Palmer of the Emmaus Police Department wrote in an email: "I would like to alert the public to this current 'rash' of thefts and also suggest that any vehicle owner with an exterior spare tire take extra precautions to secure the tire."
