Emmaus Police Report Incidents

Thefts, DUI, knife incident highlight blotter items.

The following incidents were reported Wednesday by Emmaus police:

Arrested -- Christopher A. Abbott, 24, of 1209 Eagle Drive, Emmaus; Feb. 5 for driving under the influence in the 600 block of Eagle Drive, police said; processed at Lehigh County DUI Center and released.

Criminal mischief -- Two tires slashed on a vehicle Feb. 7 in the 600 block of Walnut Street; no value given.

Charged -- 15-year-old male Emmaus High School student Feb. 9 with having weapons on school property; found with folding knife, police said; charges filed with Lehigh County Juvenile Probation.

Theft -- Reported by Emmaus High School student reported Feb. 11 an i-Phone taken while in gym class; no value given.

Charged -- 15- year-old female from Whitehall Township at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 11 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after suspicious activity investigated at Keystone Avenue and Main Street, police said; released to parent and charges filed with Lehigh County Juvenile Probation.

Theft -- Reported Feb. 14 by Emmaus High School student; i-Phone taken while in gym class, police said; no value given.
