Emmaus Police Investigating Vandalism Along Chestnut Street

Spray-painted graffiti happened within two-block radius

are investigating eight separate instances of spray-painted graffiti that happened within a two-block radius of 6th and Chestnut streets last night.

The vandalism involved a car, a residence and several businesses, according to Sgt. Chuck Palmer. The police were alerted to the damage done to one of the businesses by the business owner Wednesday morning and uncovered the other incidents during their investigation, Palmer said.

Palmer described the graffiti as “vulgarities and anti-establishment.” He said there is no indication that the vandalism is gang-related and there are currently no suspects.
