An Emmaus man is charged with simple assault and harassment in an incident at the Coopersburg Social Hall.
Police were dispatched to the social hall Jan. 19, a Saturday, at 3:40 p.m. for a "disturbance."
According to the criminal complaint, when police arrived they found Good in the parking lot of the hall "intoxicated and agitated about the fight." Inside the social hall they located Good's wife bleeding from her nose and crying.
When asked, the victim said that her husband hit her in the nose. Witnesses at the bar confirmed that Good struck her in the face with his elbow.
Good was released on $5,000 bail. An initial "no contact" order placed on Good was lifted by the district attorney's office.
