Emmaus Teen Arrested In Alleged Bicycle Theft

A 19-year-old Emmaus man was arrested in connection to a recent bicycle theft, borough police say.

A 19-year-old Emmaus man was arrested recently for allegedly receiving stolen property in connection with a bicycle theft, according to Emmaus Police.

Anthony Vassallo of S. Second Street was riding a stolen bicycle in the 200 block of Main Street on Aug. 3, police say. The bicycle was reported stolen from the 500 block of Jubilee Street on Aug. 2.

In a non-related incident, Emmaus Police report in an Aug. 11 press release:

  • A resident of the 100 block of E. Main Street reported two bicycles stolen from the porch overnight. The bicycles were valued at $800 and $400.
