Ambulance called for burn victim at the residence, according to scanner reports.
Emmaus firefighters apparently made quick work of a kitchen fire Saturday afternoon, but an ambulance was called to tend to a reported burn victim.
Firefighters were called at 2:14 p.m. to a residence at 647 Harrison St. in the borough, according to scanner reports. An assistant chief radioed that smoke was showing.
Minutes later, the fire was called under control, but a borough ambulance was called for a burn victim, according to scanner reports. It was unclear whether the injured person was a resident or firefighter, or the severity of the burn.
