DUIs Highlight Police Activities

State police release Upper Milford Township incidents.

State police recently reported two arrests for allegedly driving under the influence and another involving the unauthorized use of a credit card in Upper Milford Township.

In the first incident, Verona McCord of 6616 Kings Highway told police Feb. 6 that an unknown person used her credit card three times without her consent. That person made three purchases totaling $527.93, said police, who classified the activity as access device fraud.

Police also said they charged one operator with driving under the influence, and issued three citations and 18 written warnings for vehicle violations during a five-hour sobriety checkpoint conducted March 25 and 26.
