DUI Arrests Show Brotherly Love Should Have Limits

Police say man who came to pick up sibling in Upper Milford accident was drunk, too.

Some things in life are just bad ideas.

Take, for example, the man whom police say July 31 came to the aid of his brother who was involved in an early morning motor vehicle accident in Upper Milford Township.

Brian Laudenslager, 32, of Emmaus may have had good intentions when he drove to assist his brother after learning he was involved in the accident. He arrived to find that Scott Laudenslager, 28, of Upper Milford had been in a single-vehicle accident at 4:47 a.m. near 4725 Shimerville Road, according to . Police said they had multiple indications that Scott Laudenslager was intoxicated and arrested him for driving under the influence.

There were no reported injuries.

But when Brian Laudenslager arrived at 5:10 a.m. to pick up his brother, police said they also noticed multiple indications that the elder Laudenslager was intoxicated while driving, so they arrested him as well.
