Driver Hurt When Car Hits Utility Pole in Upper Milford, Police Say
Cars tangle, pushing one car into a utility pole at an Upper Milford intersection, troopers report.
Two area residents were injured -- one moderately so -- recently when the driver attempted to avoid another vehicle that had pulled out in front of him in Upper Milford Township, according to police.
Paul M. Fenstermaker, 80, of Macungie, was southbound on Kings Highway N. at 7:45 a.m. April 27, said state police at Fogelsville. A car driven by Garrett A. Horton, 20, also of Macungie, was headed west on E. Macungie Road and was stopped at the intersection with Kings Highway N.
Horton stopped for a stop sign and pulled into the intersection, beginning his left-hand turn onto southbound Kings Highway N. Fenstermaker did not have a stop sign and tried to steer to avoid striking Horton's Acura Legend, police said.
