Boy Hit by Truck in Emmaus Released from Hospital

No charges are filed in Emmaus accident.

A 5-year-old boy on a bicycle was injured March 5 when he was struck by the driver of a truck in Emmaus, borough police said.

Police did not report the names or addresses of those involved, but said the accident occurred about 10:20 a.m. at Fourth and Chestnut streets. The boy was transported to Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest by Emmaus Ambulance.

Police did not detail the boy's injuries, but did note that he was released from the hospital on Monday.
