Zahirah Yasmin Rana pushed an air conditioner through a window and entered the home in the 4000 block of Indian Creek Road at 2:50 a.m., police say. She then allegedly slapped a person there and left.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
At 3:15 a.m., police say, Trooper Timothy J. McManus—the same state trooper called out to the Indian Creek Road case—stopped a car for an alleged traffic violation at Cedar Crest Boulevard and Harris Street in Emmaus.
Rana was driving that car, according to police, and was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving.
The investigation continues, police say.
Rana was arraigned on burglary and trespass charges just after 10 a.m. Sunday before on-duty District Judge Ronald S. Manescu of Allentown and posted $5,000 bail, online court papers say. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday.
