$13,500 in Computer Equipment Stolen from Emmaus Business

Theft at United Employment Associates among the incidents reported by the Emmaus Police Department between Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.

The Emmaus Police Department released the following recent incidents pertaining to the borough:

Reported Nov. 1: Theft of two rims and tires from a vehicle at Lehigh Valley Honda, 675 State Ave. $1,000 loss.

Reported Nov. 1: Theft of a portable DVD player and DVDs from a vehicle in the 300 block of Berger Street. $220 loss.

Reported Nov. 3: Burglary reported at United Employment Associates LLC, 308 Main St. $13,500 worth of computer-related equipment taken.

Reported Nov. 5: Generator stolen from outside a residence in the 200 block of N. 2nd Street between 10/29/12 and 10/30/12. $4,500 loss.

Reported Nov. 5: Theft of the front grille and battery from a vehicle in the 300 block of Powder Mill Lane.

Reported Nov. 8: Windshield of a vehicle smashed by a rock in the 200 block of N. 1st Street.

I am concerned. Emmaus is a part of your constituency and to the best of my knowledge you have notRead More had a Town Hall Meeting or any public meeting in this area. Why? Safety is as important in Lehigh County as in other counties and programs such as this should be made available to everyone.
