1. Mayfair Festival of the Arts

When/Where: 4-11 p.m. May 26; noon to 11 p.m. May 27-29, and noon to 7 p.m. May 30 at Cedar Beach Park, Allentown.
Why Go: Because the annual festival is 25 years old!
Pricing: Depends on what you buy/participate in!

2. Opening Day at 

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 28 at Wildwater Kingdom
Why Go: Because it's been a very long winter and we need some summer activities.
Pricing: Prices start at $29.99 for admission and $12 for parking.

3. 2011 Coopersburg 5K Run, Kids’ Fun Run and Health and Wellness Expo

When/Where: Kids' run lines up  at 7:45 a.m.; adults' at 8 a.m. May 28 in the Town Center, 5 North Main Street. The Health Fair runs through 11 a.m.
Why Go: The healthy event the raises funds for the Coopersburg Borough Revitalization Program (CBRP) and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Pottsville Regional Office, which serves the Lehigh Valley Area.
Pricing: $10, Kids' run; $35 adults'.

4. Emmaus Memorial Day Parade

When/Where: Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. May 30 at  and ends with a Memorial Day Service at the Triangle.
Why Go: To thank and remember our veterans!
Pricing: FREE.

5. Macungie Memorial Day Parade

When/Where: Parade begins at 10 a.m. May 30 at  . This year's parade route follows East Main Street (Rt. 100) from Fairview Street north to Macungie Memorial Park.
Why Go: Because freedom isn't free and we need to thank and honor the folks who keep us this way!
