It’s no joke

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a mixed bag of precipitation – first rain and snow, then rain again. They’re predicting a high of 44 with an 80 percent chance of soggy socks.

In places like New Zealand, Ireland, Australia and South Africa, the trickery only goes on until noon, with the person who plays a joke after that point being dubbed the “April Fool.”

3. Biz Bites: , run by local portrait and lifestyle photographer Christopher Elston and his wife, Jen, last night was awarded a 2011 mychoicevoice Best Blogs of the Lehigh Valley award by “The Morning Call.”

4. A Fond Farewell: Today The Perk will close its doors for good.

5. Today in History: On this day in 1963, the ABC television network aired the first episode of its long-running daytime soap opera “General Hospital,” in an effort to capitalize on the popularity of primetime programming like “Dr. Kildare” and “Ben Casey.”

I am concerned. Emmaus is a part of your constituency and to the best of my knowledge you have notRead More had a Town Hall Meeting or any public meeting in this area. Why? Safety is as important in Lehigh County as in other counties and programs such as this should be made available to everyone.
