Edwin J. Garger, 64, Worked as Chef at Shepherd Hills Country Club

Edwin J. Garger, 64, of Emmaus, died on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 in his home. Born in Northampton, he was the son of Edwin and Helen (Koval) Garger of Cementon. Edwin was a chef for most of his working career, having worked for a few restaurants in the Lehigh Valley, including the Gourmet Inn in Northampton for about 10 years and at Shepherd Hills Country Club for about 8 years. He had been an active member of the Eastern PA Chef’s Association and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Son, Scott K. Garger and his fiancé, Tara Masonheimer; and former wife, Kathleen Garger.
