See 'Polar Express,' Feed the Needy: Saturday
Residents are invited to enjoy "The Polar Express" at The Emmaus Theatre on Saturday and support a local food drive in the process.
The Emmaus Movie Theatre is adding a unique activity to the goings on at the Emmaus Old Fashioned Christmas on Saturday, with a free screening of "The Polar Express" scheduled for 2 p.m.
Attendees are being asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the theater in exchange for their theater tickets, according to flyers promoting the screening.
Donations benefit "Food for the Needy" which supports Emmaus families, the flyer says, and the event is being sponsored by EdwardJones Investments.
The official Emmaus Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will follow the showing on the Emmaus Triangle at 6 p.m.
