Runner's World Half-Marathon & Festival Keynote Speech by Dave McGillivray

You may know him as longtime race director of classic races such as the
Falmouth Road Race, Beach to Beacon, and the Boston Marathon. But that's
just one facet of Dave McGillivray's remarkable life. The Final seminar of the Runner's World Half-Marathon & Festival will give festival-goers the chance to learn about more facets of this running icon.

A classic
American underdog, McGillivray was often the kid picked last in grade
school gym class but his relentless desire to be an athlete led him to
run the Boston Marathon as a teenager and then across the country just a
few years later to raise money for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute.

In his lifetime, McGillivray has helped raise
more than $100 million for charity. As president of Dave McGillivray
Sports Enterprises, McGillivray also knows running events. Over 30 years
of speaking to crowds around the world, McGillivray has inspired
thousands of people. Don't miss the chance to let him inspire you, too.

This speech will be held at the ArtsQuest at SteelStacks campus
101 Founders Way
Bethlehem, PA 18015

Preregistration is required, and can be found at the Runner's World website.
