Luncheon With The Authors

Society of the Arts (SOTA) will present its inaugural Luncheon With the Authors as a fund raiser for the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley. Three nationally acclaimed authors will discuss their current books and insights about the creative process of their writing. Featured authors are Nell Freudenberger (The Newlyweds), Bob Spitz (Dearie, The Remarkable Life of Julia Child) and J. Courtney Sullivan (The Engagements).

SOTA plans for Luncheon with the Authors to be an annual event. The event begins at 11:00 am at the Lehigh Country Club. There will be book sales, opportunity for author signings, a basket raffle and cash bar. Luncheon will be served at noon with the program following.

Tickets, on sale now, are $75 per person or $100 to be seated at a table with an author (limited availability). Book groups may request to be seated together. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s educational programs, the SOTA Education Endowment and the SOTA Print Fund. The deadline for purchase of tickets is Friday, September 27, 2013.
