"Love Letters" by A. R. Gurney at The Macungie Institute

Global ImpACTORS Group (GIG) presents A. R. Gurney's Love Letters this February. A portion of proceeds will be donated to The American Heart Association. John Staton of Star News Online wrote, “With laugh-out-loud lines and an ending that will squeeze tears out of all but the stoniest hearts, it would take two pretty poor readers to bring Love Letters to its knees.” Call 484.891.1314 to reserve tickets or buy them online at www.GIGtheater.com. The show times and dates are as follows:

Friday, February 7th at 7 pm
Saturday, February 8th at 3 pm
Saturday, February 8th at 7 pm
Friday, February 14th at 7 pm
Saturday, February 15th at 3 pm
Saturday, February 15th at 7 pm

General Admission Tickets are $17
Front Row Seats are $20

We are proud to announce our cast: Gene Connelly, Judith Evans, Eric D. Hersh, Janice McDuffy, Gene Traupman, and Becca Carlyon Wahoff.

"Love Letters" is a gripping staged reading “between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.” (Description provided by Dramatists Play Service.) Order tickets now to experience this compelling piece of theater! Some language may not be suitable for younger audiences.
