Hunt for History: Paper Cutting and Folding

Children will have the opportunity to explore Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites to identify paper products throughout the site. Students will be able to gain inspiration from their guided tour of the museum. Docent will explain the history and international diversity of the art of paper cutting including throughout Asia , Central America, and Middle East. Docents will also highlight evidence of paper cutting and folding in the Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites' collections. Children will create an origami paper ring inspired by the art of history.
