Heid, Earnshaw, Fuller and Munson Win East Penn Seats

Three incumbents and one challenger were the top vote-getters in Tuesday's general election, according to unofficial results.

Some familiar faces will be returning to the East Penn School Board of School Directors for another term, according to unofficial vote tallies from Tuesday’s general election reported by WFMZ.com.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting results, incumbents Rebecca Heid, Alan Earnshaw and Francee Fuller, along with challenger Z.W. Munson, have been elected to the four open director seats, WFMZ reports.

The way the tallies break-down, WFMZ reports, is as follows:

  • Heid, who ran on both the Democratic and Republican tickets, was the top vote-getter, with 6,819 votes or 21 percent.
  • Earnshaw, who was also cross-filed in the race, garnered 6,781 votes, or 21 percent.
  • 4,873 votes (15 percent) went to Fuller, who this summer was named to the Democratic ballot position that was won in the primary by Michael Moxley when Moxley dropped out of the race.
  • Munson, who also ran on the Democratic ballot, earned 4,834 votes or 15 percent.
Republican Challengers Chris Donatelli and Garrett Rhoads each earned 14 percent -- 4,658 and 4,405, respectively.

Members of the East Penn Board of School Directors serve four-year terms.
