In the meantime, here's what you can expect to happen when you head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
According to Lehigh County Voter Registration:
- All pollworkers will ask you for a valid photo ID.
- If you do not provide the requested ID, you will be given information on the possible requirements for upcoming elections, according to Act 18.
- Even if you don't have ID, you can still vote on the electronic voting machine. (Act 18 says those without ID need to vote on a provisional ballot, but this is NOT the case for the Nov. 5 election.)
- All first-time voters will still be required to show a valid ID to vote on electronic machines.
