Wind Gap Park Offers Another Outdoor Concert
This Sunday enjoy a medley of free music on a warm summer evening.
This week brings us another free musical opportunity at Wind Gap Park. This Sunday features King Henry and the Showmen, a six-member band who began their musical adventure in the late 1960s, when they were the house band and opening act at Mount Airy Lodge in the Poconos.
During their time there, they performed with icons like Tony Bennett, The Four Seasons and Jerry Lewis. And after that, a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall led them to appear in places like Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The band’s music style spans four decades, from the 1950s to the 1980s, so no matter what you like, you’re sure to be singing or dancing along.
