Good Friday: What's Open, What's Closed
Good Friday is a religious holiday, not a national one.
Here's what is closed on Good Friday:
- Emmaus municipal offices
- Upper Milford Township municipal offices
- East Penn School District and its schools
- Emmaus Public Library is closed on Friday as it always is. It is open on Saturday and Monday.
- Lehigh County Courthouse
- District Judge Donna Butler's office
- The U.S. stock market
Here's what's open:
- Pennsylvania state liquor stores
- PennDOT driver license and photo centers
- Post offices (mail will be delivered)
- Most banks
- Most retail and entertainment establishments
