Five Things to Know Today: March 25

Hopefully we've had our onion snow

1. Weather: The National Weather Service says we will actually see the sun today. High will be near 43. Enjoy it while you can because there is a chance for more of the white stuff in the weekend forecast.

2. Did You Know? Onion snow is a Pennsylvania term used to describe the last snow of the season. Here’s to hoping that we’ve already had ours.

3. Make a Note: Emmaus High School’s Mud Club is holding its second annual “” on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Macungie Institute, Rte 100. A $20 donation gets you a bowl of soup and bread and a commemorative stoneware bowl made especially for the lunch. Proceeds benefit the Food Program of East Penn School District’s Angel Network.
