1.  Weather: Mostly sunny today, according to the National Weather Service, with a high of 51. Sunrise is at 7:02 and sunset at 7:16, which gives us about 2 minutes and 42 seconds more daylight than yesterday.

2. Switcheroo: Emmaus Patch gets a new editor tomorrow. 

3. In Case you Missed It: Two Emmaus High School students who recently disrupted class were found to be drunk, according to borough police.

4.  Coming Up: Perk on Main owner Jill Killo announced yesterday that she will close her popular café at the end of the month. We have an exclusive interview later today.

5.  This Day in History: On this day in 1972, the Equal Rights Amendment, providing for equality of the sexes, was passed by the senate. It was then sent to each state for ratification, but a conservative wave in the mid-1970s turned sentiment against what would have been the 27th Amendment to the Constitution. By the end of the 20th century, however, the federal government and all states had passed legislation protecting the rights of women.
