It's a good day to get married, or dig a hole.

1.  Weather: A bit rainy this morning then partly cloudy, according to the National Weather Service, with a high of 56. Sunrise is at 7:12 and sunset at 7:09, which gives us about 2 minutes and 42 seconds more daylight than yesterday.

3.  In Case you Missed It: East Penn School Members Monday took turns blasting Gov. Tom Corbett’s proposed state budget that cuts deep into public schools. Also, District Superintendent Thomas Seidenberger gave his list of proposed cuts to the board in the amount of $1 million.

4.  Coming Up: The ballots are in. Yesterday the Lehigh County Elections Board drew the ballot positions for the candidates in the May prmaries. Learn what the ballts will look like at noon today.

5.  A Good Day: According to the Farmers’ Almanac, today is a good day to cut firewood, dig holes, paint, get married, host a party and travel. That’s a bust day.
