Five Things to Know Today: Feb. 4

Be kind to Eyer students; it's report card day.

1.  Weather: Sunny today, according to the National Weather Service, with a high near 35, just warm enough to start a slight melt. The wind will be from the northwest at 9 mph to 13 mph. Sunrise is at 7:09 and sunset at 5:23, which gives us about 2 minutes and 15 seconds more daylight than yesterday.

2.  SnowBlast: The fifth annual SnowBlast starts tonight. Ice Princess Laura Wetzel will demonstrate her award winning skating moves at a Triangle mini-rink starting at 5 p.m. today. Also performing on the Triangle tonight are juggler Joe Scholz at 6:15 p.m. and Wesley Works Entertainment music from 5 until 9 p.m.

3.  EHS Coffee House: After an icetini at SnowBlast, try coffee or hot cocoa at the Third Annual EHS Orchestra Coffee House, 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. There will be basket raffles and 15 student-acts including rock bands, folk songs, jazz, and more.
