Emmaus Community Pool Pump Part Still Hasn't Arrived
Emmaus Borough Manager Shane Pepe says the borough is still waiting on a part needed to get the broken pump at the Community Pool up and running.
The jury is still out on whether the pool in will be open for the Labor Day holiday weekend.
In response to an email request for an update on the pool situation, Emmaus Borough Manager said that the borough was expecting to receive a part needed to get the broken pool pump up and running yesterday.
"We are trying to track the shipment now," Pepe wrote. "It supposedly shipped yesterday to be delivered today, however, we still have not received the part. I will notify you as soon as the part arrives and it is successfully installed. I’m hoping it will be today yet. We were supposed to receive the part yesterday."
