Did you Feel the Virginia Earthquake?

It measured 5.9 on Richter scale, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale struck central Virginia at 1:53 p.m., the washingtonpost.com reported.

It was felt throughtout the Washington, New York City and North Carolina areas, but also throughout Lehigh and Northampton counties. 

In Allentown, emergency crews reported two natural gas leaks after the earthquake. One of them was in the 600 block of Liberty Street; the other was at 4th and Hamilton, between City Hall and the Lehigh County Courthouse.
