Cool off With a Mango Limeade

An Emmaus Patch reader shares a favorite summer drink recipe.

Emmaus Patch reader Heather N. is pleased to share one of her favorite non-alcoholic summer drink recipes: Mango Limeade.

Here's what you need:

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice (approximately 8 limes)
  • 24 ounces mango nectar
  • 24 ounces lemon-lime soda, chilled
  • 1 lime, sliced thin, for garnish
  • ice cubes


Here's what you do:

  1. In a large pitcher, stir sugar, lime juice, and mango nectar until sugar dissolves.
  2. Shortly before serving, add soda and limes. Serve with ice and garnish with lime slices.
