Two Emmaus Patch Restaurants to Compete in Chili Superbowl

The Farmhouse and Trapp Door will compete in annual Easton chili cook-off on Sunday.

Hours before the kick-off in Indianapolis Sunday evening, 25 restaurants will meet in Easton for their own Superbowl.

For the last 17 years, has hosted , challenging area chefs to bring their best chili recipe.

Don't come expecting a tough man contest for the tongue. Most chefs worry more about flavor than heat.

Do expect to wait in line for awhile; this event -- which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. -- usually draws a lot of people. There's a $5 donation to sample the different chilis. Proceeds this year go to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Williams Township.
