Treat Yourself to Dinner at Apollo Grill

Sitting in Apollo Grill is almost like sitting in a big art gallery. The atmosphere is artsy and contemporary: the ceiling is tiled white, it's lit with track and blue pendant lighting, and the large square bar is topped with a dark stone. But the neatest part is the wall artwork that changes as they sponsor new artists.

The food is a whole different story. The Apollo menu is extensive. There are plenty of sandwiches like the Crab Cake, Italian BMT, Grilled Tuna Wrap, and Vegetable Baguette, and plenty of salads like the Nicoise, Apollo Waldorf, and Tricolore. In addition, they feature entrées like Panko-Crusted Sea Scallops, Szechwan Duck Breast, fresh fish (with your choice of sauce) and three cuts of steak (also with your choice of sauce).

But Apollo is known for its amazing appetizers (and there are over two dozen), so the best idea is to order a few different ones as your dinner. With everything from Korean Beef Kabobs to Thai Sesame-Encrusted Shrimp to Baked Brie en Croute, it’ll be hard not to find something you like or try something new.

There is a nice list of specialty martinis too, like the Blue Moon, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, and Razz Matazz.

My meal: We split three appetizers: the Black & Blue Tenderloins, Crab Macaroni & Cheese, and the Crostini. Each one was absolutely delicious, and our waitress was very friendly and professional. I was thoroughly impressed and I highly recommend a trip. I’m giving it a full 5/5.
